THE BEGINNING
Our journey towards animal welfare took a serious turn in 2017 with a humble yet impactful gesture. It all began with the voluntary feeding of dogs caught by a local pound in our community.
Shocking reports from nearby residents revealed the dire conditions these innocent animals faced, abandoned and deprived of basic necessities. Driven by compassion and armed with determination, we embarked on this mission without external funding, driven solely by our desire to ensure their survival and find them loving homes.
Little did we know that this commitment would endure for almost six years, with the number of dogs in need steadily increasing. As we continued, we found ourselves relying solely on our modest salaries to provide them with the essential sustenance they needed.
In response to the growing need and our unwavering commitment, we decided to elevate our cause by establishing Loved by the Gapz – Animal Rescue Inc. as a registered non-profit organization.
As a legal entity, we now bear obligations and responsibilities recognized by the law, enabling us to further amplify our impact.
